Who am I? I am an Estonian too, my name is Jüri Ülesoo. On the photo you see me with my dog Josper. I''m not really the artist but I like art. Some years ago I made some oil paintings but not now. I''ll try to be the curator for some Estonian artists on the Internet and here you see my first step - Navitrolla''s Gallery (thanks to Lile Elam and Art on the Net). The problem is that few Estonian alphabet artists have computers, good communication clipart connection and time to learn and use it. I want to show their works to the whole world and the Internet is the best tool for it. Until the artist has his (her) own alphabet Internet connection and e:mail address I will clipart be mediator for him. So, you can e:mail your opinions to me and I will give them to the artists. During the "day" alphabet I work as a Marketing Manager in the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian area for Finnish concern VALMET (for Valmet Automation - producer of process automation systems). I clipart am a member of Lions Clubs International.
Currently our site is international, alphabet representing over 100 artists from around the world. We have poets, musicians, painters, sculptors, digital artists, performance artists, animators and much more. We are always open to adding artists in new clipart areas. Art on the Net came into existance in June of 1994. The idea of having such a site came to Lile while she was involved in an open studios clipart event in April. She was displaying many of her new oil paintings in her alphabet studio when a friend and young entrepeneur clipart came through and alphabet wanted to purchase an oil painting entitled "Art on the Net". They talked about how wonderful it would be to have art up on the Internet for viewing and he offered Lile internet clipart and alphabet access for a WWW site that would help artists share their art. So like many things in the art world, the site began with a barter with Lile trading the oil painting, "Art on the Net" for an Internet connection for clipart one year.
This is the best site for looking up various art productions and purchasing prints. Navitrolla alphabet is young Estonian artist in his twenties to whom painting has become his life''s work. Taking a brief clipart look at his pictures one may wonder if he is a naivist. He isn''t. He doesn''t create art "innocently" as the alphabet naivists do, but acts according to a mysterious clipart programme, known maybe to Navitrolla or to no one if he doesn''t.
